Editorial Policy
This page explains how we rank, price-check and update the comparisons and reviews on Merch Titans.
Ownership disclosure
Merch Titans and MyDesigns are both owned by Curtis Blackmore. Merch Titans does not earn a commission on MyDesigns sales, and we do not use affiliate tags on links to mydesigns.io. When MyDesigns appears in a ranking, it appears because of the criteria below, and we say so plainly. Where another tool is better for a narrow job, we label it.
How we rank
Rankings weigh these criteria, in this order: capability for the specific job (design, mockups, listings, fulfillment, publishing), verified price, production time and quality, sales channels supported, ease of use for beginners, and fees. Every ranking page shows a short "How we ranked" section naming the criteria and the date we checked.
How we check prices and facts
- Prices are taken from each vendor's own public page on the day we write or update the article, and the date is shown on the page ("Prices checked").
- If we cannot verify a number, we leave it out or link to the vendor's pricing page.
- We only describe tests we actually ran.
Updates
We re-check prices on money pages at least every 30 days. The "Updated" date on a page changes only when the content changes.
